Meet Tracy -
If you’ve visited The Bridal Boutique Baildon before, there’s a good chance you’ll already know Tracy — the owner, bridal stylist and usually the one with the biggest smile in the room.
Friendly, bubbly and down-to-earth, Tracy absolutely loves what she does. But behind all the excitement is a real knowledge of wedding dresses, an eye for what works and a genuine determination to help every bride who walks through the door find her dress.
Tracy knows the collection inside out. She’ll listen to what you’re looking for, help you understand which shapes and styles work for you and, every now and again, encourage you to try the wildcard you’d never have picked yourself.
Because sometimes that’s the dress.
Why it matters so much
Tracy’s own experience of wedding dress shopping wasn’t a particularly happy one. In fact, it was awful.
She never forgot how that felt and always said that one day, if she ever had the opportunity to own a bridal boutique, she would do things differently.
A bride should feel listened to. She should be given honest, professional advice. She should feel comfortable enough to say what she loves — and what she definitely doesn’t! And when she finds her wedding dress, she should be able to look in the mirror and feel completely confident that she’s found the one.
That’s the experience Tracy wanted to create.
A little bit about us
The Bridal Boutique Baildon was established in 2009, and Tracy took over the boutique in 2020 — right in the middle of Covid.
Not exactly the easiest time to buy a bridal shop!
Then came another lockdown. And another.
But Tracy loved the boutique, the dresses and helping her brides far too much to give up on it. She fought incredibly hard to keep the business going — even selling her beloved Heidi the Hyundai along the way. (Surely everyone names their car?)
Today, she’s incredibly proud of the boutique she fought to keep and the collection of beautiful wedding dresses she gets to introduce to brides every day.
Becoming a BB Bride
When you become a BB Bride, you’re not simply choosing a wedding dress.
You’re choosing the dress you’re going to get married in.
The one you’ll walk down the aisle in. The one that will be in your photographs for years to come. The one your partner will see you in for the first time.
So yes, we’ll laugh. We’ll have a chat. There might even be a glass of Prosecco involved.
But we also take finding your wedding dress seriously.
We’re here to guide you, advise you and help you find a dress that you don’t just like — but one you’re 100% certain you want to wear on your wedding day.
